Job summary

Compass Health Center is seeking a Group Therapist for our Over 18 Mood and Anxiety PHP/IOP programs, focusing on Complex Anxiety and OCD. You will lead groups using CBT, DBT, and ACT in a dynamic, supportive setting and collaborate with families and outside providers.

Qualifications

• One year post-master’s exposure therapy experience preferred.
• Licenses or certifications: PhD, PsyD, LCPC, LCSW, LSW, or LPC preferred.
• Core skills include CBT and DBT.

Responsibilities

• Lead group therapy sessions teaching DBT, CBT, and ACT skills.
• Conduct and write assessments of new patients to the program.
• Provide individual and milieu-based exposure therapy.
• Participate in individual therapy as needed.
• Develop and implement program materials and curricula.
• Communicate with patients’ family or support system as needed.
• Coordinate care with outside providers for continuity of care.
• Provide updates to the insurance utilization team.
• Chart daily progress of patients.
• Attend training for Exposure Response Prevention Therapy.

About This Role

Compass Health Center is seeking a Group Therapist as part of our Over 18 Mood and Anxiety PHP/IOP programs, focusing on our Complex Anxiety and OCD programs. At the core of Compass we believe in the power of community and connection, which is why we are committed to our group-based programming. As a Group Therapist, you will spend the majority of your time with our patients facilitating evidenced based groups using modalities like CBT, DBT, and ACT. We are seeking new and experienced clinicians with a passion for delivering dynamic and informative groups for our patients. What You'll Do:

• Lead group therapy sessions teaching DBT, CBT, and ACT skills
• Conduct and write assessments of new patients to the program
• Provide individual and milieu-based exposure therapy
• Participate in individual therapy as needed
• Development and implementation of program material and curriculum
• Communicate with patients’ family members or support system, as needed
• Coordinate care with patients’ outside providers to ensure continuity of care
• Provide insurance utilization team with updates
• Chart progress of patients daily
• Attend training for Exposure Response Prevention Therapy

Who You Are:

• One year, post master’s exposure therapy experience; preferred
• Hold the following licenses or certification: PhD, PsyD, LCPC, LCSW, LSW, LPC; preferred
• Possess a core skill set of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

This range includes multiple career path levels across the organization; where you fall in the range is dependent upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, your years of experience, type of experience, location, and education/certifications. Compensation: $47,000 USD - $65,000 USD
