Qualifications

• Two years teaching experience in adult education or related field.
• Experience with curriculum development and lesson planning.
• Ability to design learner-centered, project-based instruction.
• Familiarity with technology-supported instruction.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to equity and serving underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Teach reading, grammar, writing, math and test-taking skills to adult learners.
• Create and implement curricula and lesson plans.
• Integrate technology into engaging instructional strategies.
• Provide group and one-on-one instruction for math and literacy.
• Collaborate with Education Specialist on curriculum planning.
• Support student success alongside Case Managers.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and trainings.
• Prepare for monitoring visits to align with program expectations.
• Maintain student portfolios and document progress.
• Refer participants to support services as needed.
• Complete related assignments from leadership.
