Maxim Healthcare in Orland Park is hiring for a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to work with our adult and pediatric patients in the home setting located in Bradey, IL.

Bradley, IL shifts include Friday & Saturday 7pm-7am; Onarga, IL shifts include Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7pm-7am + PRN. Salary ranges from $36 to $45 per hour based on experience and location. This position emphasizes comprehensive benefits and patient‑centered care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the state you practice.
• Current Health Certificate required by facility or state regulations.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for clients receiving contracted services.
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests revisions as patient needs change.
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on diagnosis and goals.
• Intervenes in response to changes in patient condition and reports to physician or supervisor.
• Assists with medications and treatments, monitors effectiveness and documents outcomes.
• Reviews plan of care and protocols to support education, care coordination, and discharge needs.

Responsibilities

• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals
• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention
• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
