Qualificações

• Two (2) years' experience in informal education, event/program coordination or related field.
• Experience working with the public and adults in an educational setting preferred.
• Experience in a cultural institution and with volunteers preferred.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively with donors, partners, and colleagues.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate scheduling of classes with contract instructors and Garden staff.
• Assist in planning course offerings on topics such as Food & Cooking, Gardening & Landscaping, Fine Arts, Green Living, Nature Study, Photography, Guided Tours, Well-Being, Botanical Crafts.
• Draft course descriptions for web and print catalogs; assist in editing catalogs.
• Utilize scheduling/registration systems (Ungerboeck, Tessitura) and online class tools (Zoom).
• Assist instructors with classes, online programs, and supply purchases.
• Maintain program statistics and surveys.
• Coordinate volunteers and cross-divisional communication to arrange classes.
• Ensure adherence to policies and safety guidelines.
