Equus Workforce Solutions in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an Adult Education Navigator to guide W-2 participants through education planning, transcripts, and enrollment in GED/HSD/ESL and job-skill programs.

The role focuses on coordinating with education providers, developing individualized plans, and monitoring progress to help participants achieve workforce readiness and self-sufficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in education, human services, or related field required.
• Minimum 2 years in adult education, workforce development, or case management.
• Knowledge of GED/HSED, ESL, and vocational training programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist W-2 participants in identifying and enrolling in appropriate educational programs including HSD/GED/HSED, ESL, and vocational training.
• Conduct transcript reviews and assess educational history to determine eligibility and placement.
• Develop individualized education plans aligned with employment and self-sufficiency goals.
• Connect participants with community education providers and support services.
• Monitor progress and provide ongoing support to ensure program completion and workforce readiness.
• Collaborate with FEPs and other staff to integrate education goals into the W-2 IEP.
• Maintain accurate documentation of educational activities, progress, and outcomes.
• Stay informed about local education resources, program requirements, and funding opportunities.
• Uphold confidentiality and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and program regulations.
