Colby Community College (CCC) invites applications for a full-time Adult Education Instructor to provide GED preparation and academic instruction to eligible incarcerated students. This position will provide instructional services in both the higher-security areas of Norton Correctional Facility and the lower-security unit located outside the main facility.
This position is located in Norton, Kansas, and will perform services at the Norton Correctional Facility
Applicants must be willing and comfortable working with incarcerated individuals across different custody and security levels and must be able to adapt to the policies, procedures, security requirements, and operational expectations of this setting.
While this position maintains regular hours, some schedule adjustments are necessary to match student availability and the educational needs of the correctional facility.
The range for this exempt, full-time position is $43,500 - $45,650 per year. The selected candidate will also be eligible to participate in the College's health, dental, and vision plan, as well as the State of Kansas KPERS retirement system. This position is also eligible for relocation/moving expenses up to $2,000.
