Job summary
East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) seeks an Adjunct Adult Education Instructor for Biology (Bio 201 & 202) to teach adult learners in Human Anatomy and Physiology I & II, including lab components. Courses run 8 weeks, meeting twice weekly, with sessions paid at $1,500 per credit (total $6,000 per session).
The instructor designs lessons, delivers engaging activities, assesses students, and maintains records in accordance with EVIT policies; a Master's degree and relevant teaching
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, or closely related field.
- One year of college-level teaching experience.
- Minimum of 18 graduate level credits in Biology or Anatomy or Physiology with a grade of 'C' or higher.
Responsibilities
- Teach Human Anatomy and Physiology I & II for Biology 201 & 202 courses.
- Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with approved outcomes.
- Incorporate hands-on laboratory activities and ensure a safe lab environment.
- Prepare instructional materials and assess student learning.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to EVIT policies and procedures.
