Job summary

Friendship Community Care in Rogers, AR is seeking a part-time Transportation Aide to ensure the safe transportation of children. This role requires a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to complete required documentation. CDL may be required for this position.

Duties include pre-trip inspections, assisting with classroom transitions, and maintaining transportation logs. The position is safety sensitive and requires adherence to FCC and FPS policies, attendance

Qualifications

• High School diploma and/or GED preferred; preferably with one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• A valid driver's license and a clean background check.
• A CDL may be required based on position.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation
• Complete Pre-Trip Inspections prior to each route
• Check buses at end of routes to ensure no child remains on bus
• Assist with taking children to their classrooms
• Turn in all documentation daily including Transportation Log and Roster
• Maintain bus binder with seating charts, client information, and emergency procedures
• Ensure up-to-date client information on the bus binder
• Turn in gas receipts at month end
• Complete monthly inspections on assigned vehicles
• Report transportation incidents to supervisor
• Attend scheduled staff meetings
• Complete required training timely
• Submit Work Orders for vehicle maintenance
• Perform minor vehicle maintenance tasks
• Assist in scheduling/delivering/picking up vehicles
• Follow FCC and FPS policies and procedures
• Maintain current AR Driver's License; CDL may be required
• Other duties as assigned
• This is a safety sensitive position.
