Block Institute is seeking a Program Site Supervisor to join the Adult Day Services Leadership Team!

This is a frontline supervisory role within the Adult Day Services program, ideal for a current DSP or Group Leader looking to grow professionally. This position works under the guidance of the Program Coordinator and plays a key role in supporting the daily operations and service delivery within the site.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and coordination of daily activities, goals, and services within the Adult Day Services program, under the direction of the Program Coordinator.

  • Assist in observing and assessing the individualized needs of participants, helping to implement personalized service plans and program methodologies.

  • Participate in annual and as-needed evaluations of individuals’ progress and evolving support needs.

  • Supervise and provide day-to-day guidance to Group Leaders, ensuring consistent implementation of service plans and smooth facilitation of team meetings.

  • Support staff development through on-the-job training and ongoing coaching to help meet program goals effectively.

  • Maintain communication with families, guardians, and other stakeholders as appropriate, with support from the Coordinator.

  • Ensure accuracy in documentation, including daily attendance and monthly data sheets, in compliance with OPWDD regulations and billing standards.

  • Promote and model respectful, person-centered interactions in line with Block Institute’s mission and policies.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of relevant experience OR
  • Associate’s Degree with 2+ years of experience.
  • Minimum 1 year working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience required.
  • Strong English communication skills (spoken and written) required for documentation, team coordination, and participant interaction.
