Qualifications

  • Associates degree with 4 years experience or Bachelor's with 2 years or Master's with 1 year working with individuals with disabilities.
  • Valid PA driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

CNTA is seeking two strong leaders to serve as managers of a new adult day program opening in Somerset, PA. An Adult Day Program supports adults diagnosed with an intellectual/developmental disability, focusing on personalized services, skill-building, and community integration. The Program Manager & Program Specialist should be accountable, proactive, innovative, self-motivated, and solutions-oriented.

What It Takes To Be a Program Specialist/Manager

Your primary goal is to support individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities to live their best lives. You must be committed to their happiness and well-being, providing supervisory guidance to staff. Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting a caseload of individuals with personalized services and high-quality standards
  • Developing and teaching daily living skills and behaviors as per ISP and BSP
  • Building relationships with support systems
  • Participating in ISP development and reviews
  • Providing activities aligned with ISP and community integration
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and records
  • Managing the licensing process for continuous improvement
Requirements to Be a Program Specialist/Manager
  • Associates degree in a related field with 4 years of experience or a bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience, or a master's degree with 1 year of experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • Valid PA driver’s license, successful driving history check, reliable transportation, and ability to travel between Johnstown and Somerset
  • Successful completion of physical, drug screening, and background checks
