Job summary

LADACIN Network is seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional Instructor to support adults with developmental and physical disabilities in the Ocean County area. This full-time role focuses on community-based activities, skill development, and individualized programming to promote independence and inclusion.

The position emphasizes implementing individual goals, facilitating meaningful activities, and providing personal care as needed, with a sign-on bonus of $1,000.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience with individuals with physical and developmental disabilities preferred.
• New Jersey Department of Education certification preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must pass all required background and employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of individualized program goals.
• Plan and facilitate community-based activities reflecting participant interests.
• Support participants in daily living, social, and vocational skills.
• Provide personal care assistance as needed.
• Ensure health, safety, and well-being of participants.
• Maintain documentation and program records.
• Collaborate with team, families, and other professionals.
• Promote participant independence, dignity, and community inclusion.
