Qualifications

• One or more years of experience working with older individuals.
• High school graduate or GED required.
• Bachelor degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide reminders and cueing for residents’ toileting, dining, mobility, psychosocial and safety needs.
• Follow infection control, sanitation and safety standards in all activities.
• Observe participants and communicate changes with supervisor.
• Participate in individualized care planning for participants.
• Plan and organize activities to meet participants’ psychosocial needs and preferences.
• Support social interactions, friendships, and community within the program.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe environment and supply management.
• Assist in program record-keeping and required documentation.
