Job description

Activity Leaders at Hattie Larlham's Excel Adult Day Services have fun each and every day interacting with our clients during a variety of fun and rewarding experiences such as our group outings, activities and field trips with the people we serve with developmental disabilities and special needs.

Openings:

  • Activity Leader / Driver at our Green location
  • Activity Leader / Floater between our Barberton, Green, and Stow locations as needed (perfect for those who like to visit our different worksites)
  • 1st Shift Monday to Friday - No weekends or holidays!
  • Must have a High School Diploma/GED, a valid Ohio Driver's License with 5 or fewer points and willing to learn how to drive our small bus.

Duties: Activity Leaders help people with disabilities to engage in a variety of outings and activities such as bowling, movie theaters, sledding, shopping, attending plays, social interactions with a variety of people and more! Other responsibilities include assisting individuals served with personal care while ensuring their safety and well-being. We will also train you on driving our bus so we can open up new experiences for these great people out in the community.
