Job summary

The Epilepsy Center of Northwest Ohio is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. This role supports daily living, transportation, personal care, and community activities to help individuals live full and independent lives.

Locations include Lucas County with 4-day weekday schedules and alternating weekends for 2nd or 3rd shifts. Benefits and overtime opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (fewer than 6 points)
• Proof of auto insurance
• Ability to pass BCI/FBI background checks and required screenings

Responsibilities

• Provide respectful, person-centered support in daily living tasks
• Drive a transportation route
• Assist with personal care: ambulation, bathing, grooming, toileting, etc.
• Engage individuals in social, recreational, and community activities
• Support individuals to build independent living skills
• Prepare meals, cleaning, laundry, and household tasks
• Transport individuals safely to and from day programs and social outings
• Encourage personal growth and achievement of goals
• Accurately document activities, incidents, and client progress
• Communicate professionally with team members, families, and clients
• Participate in required paid training and team meetings

The Epilepsy Center of Northwest Ohio is hiring Adult Day Array - Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our mission driven team. You'll help individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities live full, empowered, and independent lives.

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Locations: Lucas County

Available Schedules: Adult Day Array - 4 weekdays 8 AM - 4 PM and every other weekend 2nd shift OR 3rd shift Residential.
