Inability to perform these responsibilities, with or without an accommodation, may result in disqualification from the position.** Utilizes core knowledge and skills to function as a competent, independent technologist, performing a full range of CT exams and adjusting protocols based on patient condition and clinical indication to deliver safe, high‐quality, and efficient patient‐centered care in routine and emergent settings.* Prepares patients for procedures and correlates clinical history with physician‐ordered exams to support appropriate imaging.* Safely administers contrast per protocol* Demonstrates the ability to recognize basic imaging artifacts and implement corrective measures independently or under guidance.* Effectively communicates and collaborates with patients, families, and the care team to support desired clinical outcomes and service standards.* Accurately transfers images and associated data to designated systems, completes basic technical documentation, and prepares studies for physician reporting.* Carries out operator‐level quality control checks, cleaning, high‐level disinfection, and basic equipment maintenance per manufacturer instructions and regulatory requirements.* Accurately document in EMR/PACS* Actively participates in continuing education, professional development, and research initiatives to maintain competencies and advance quality of care and treatment practices.* Supports inventory tasks as needed to help ensure supplies are available.**General Responsibilities:*** Performs other duties as assigned.**Minimum Qualifications:****Education:** Graduate of an accredited imaging, radiology or nuclear medicine program as defined by ARRT or Completion of JRCERT accredited Military Educational Program is accepted in lieu of other educational requirements.**Experience:** At least 1 year of CT experience required.**License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required:** Current Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon hire. ARRT(RT)(CT) certification is required upon hire.**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:*** Solid knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology, CT imaging principles, and radiologic terminology. Applies core‐level primary specialty theory and techniques to independently perform CT exams, complete post‐processing and image analysis, and accurately annotate study data and procedure documentation with minimal guidance.* Ability to prioritize and independently complete clinical and non‐clinical work assignments with limited direction.* Communicates effectively through verbal and written means to convey accurate, timely information and collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.* Ability to prioritize and independently complete clinical and non‐clinical work assignments with limited direction, applying sound judgment to manage workload, competing priorities, and changing demands.* Ability to multitask and remain calm in stressful situations, independently adjusting priorities and maintaining focus in fast‐paced or changing environments.* Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy* Knowledge of and ability to apply HIPAA guidelines and standards.* Ability to work as part of a diverse team and communicate effectively with others.* Displays consistency and dependability by reporting to work as scheduled.* Ability to be sensitive to patients’ physical and psychological needs.* Ability to maintain accurate records and work accurately with names, numbers, and codes.
