The Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at West Virginia University School of Medicine and the WVU Heart & Vascular Institute is actively recruiting a board-certified/eligible cardiac surgeon to join our rapidly growing Adult Cardiac Surgery Division. Eligible candidates will be at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level.

The successful candidate will practice the full spectrum of adult cardiac surgery.

Formación

• MD or DO degree; completed general surgery residency and cardiothoracic surgery fellowship, or integrated cardiothoracic residency with cardiac track.

Responsabilidades

• Practice the full spectrum of adult cardiac surgery.
• Support subspecialty and academic interests to foster growth.
• Collaborate with the WVU Heart & Vascular Institute in a growing division.

Adult Cardiac Surgery at WVU:

The Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at West Virginia University School of Medicine and the WVU Heart & Vascular Institute is actively recruiting a board-certified/eligible cardiac surgeon to join our rapidly growing Adult Cardiac Surgery Division. Eligible candidates will be at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level.

The successful candidate will practice the full spectrum of adult cardiac surgery. Subspecialty and academic interests, while not mandatory, will be facilitated by the Department to ensure future growth and development of the new faculty member.

Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree, have completed general surgery residency and cardiothoracic surgery fellowship, or an integrated cardiothoracic residency with cardiac track, and be board eligible/certified. State medical licensure eligibility required.
