Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse to join Forbes Hospital’s behavioral health unit, a large 37-bed unit serving adults with varied mental health illnesses. The RN will lead nursing care, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure high-quality, patient-centered care within a high-acuity setting.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, and documentation of care, collaboration with physicians and staff, and participation in safety and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via eNLC is required.
• CPR certification required.
• Act 34/33/73 and FBI fingerprint background clearances required.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in professional nursing practice.
• Delivers patient-centered care for adults across specified service lines.
• Documents assessments, plans, interventions and patient outcomes as prescribed by physicians and hospital policy.
• Coordinates with interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective care.
• Promotes patient safety initiatives and participates in quality improvement activities.
