Qualifications

Role Description

The Adoption Social Worker is a part-time, on-site role based in the Greater Boston area. This position focuses on supporting children, birth families, and adoptive families through all stages of the adoption process. Day-to-day tasks include conducting home studies and assessments, providing counseling and guidance to prospective adoptive parents, and facilitating pre- and post-placement visits. The Adoption Social Worker coordinates with legal and community partners, maintains accurate documentation, and ensures compliance with agency policies and state regulations. The role also involves participating in case conferences, offering education and support groups, and advocating for the best interests of children in care.

Qualifications
