Description

1. Manages the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure residents' healthcare needs are met.
2. Ensures residents are treated with respect and dignity, providing quality care as their healthcare needs evolve.
3. Maintains consistent quality resident care and service delivery across all shifts; may assume roles of Caregiver or Med Tech/Aide to meet resident needs and staffing requirements.
4. Supervises community-based licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA's, and Caregivers, providing ongoing training and education, including classroom in-services and situational training. Manages staff schedules.
5. Oversees medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision or administration, conducting periodic medication skills checks and audits per Brookdale guidelines.
6. Shares on-call duties as required.
7. Possesses education to obtain a state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN) and has 1-2 years of relevant experience.
8. Holds an active LPN or LVN license.
