Job summary

University Park Skilled Nursing and Therapy is seeking an ADON Unit Manager to oversee patient care, supervise nursing staff and liaise with families. The role requires an Oklahoma RN or LPN license, knowledge of CMS and state standards, up-to-date First Aid and CPR, and experience in a Skilled Nursing or Long Term Care setting.

Qualifications

• Current and unencumbered Oklahoma RN or LPN license.
• Knowledgeable of CMS and Oklahoma regulatory standards.
• Up to date First Aid and CPR certification.
• 1+ year of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long Term Care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and restore health of residents.
• Act as main contact between residents and families.
• Address and prevent concerns from family members.
• Develop, implement and adjust patient care plans as needed.
• Supervise, counsel and discipline nursing staff to ensure quality care.
• Ensure unit meets CMS/state standards and company policies.
