Job summary

CommCare Corporation seeks an Adon (ADON) for Willow Wood Skilled Nursing Facility in Louisiana. You will provide clinical leadership, oversee nursing operations, and ensure high-quality resident care in a collaborative team setting.

The ideal candidate will hold a Louisiana RN license, have long-term care experience, and demonstrate strong leadership with flexible hours to meet facility needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the nursing department.
• Recruitment, selection, and training of nursing staff.
• Coordinate in-service trainings and ensure compliance with federal/state requirements.
• Monitor assessments and care planning activities; guide timely completion.
• Facilitate care plan conferences and QM meetings; support care planning process.
• Lead infection prevention activities and collaborate with healthcare professionals.

We’re seeking the right candidate for the position of ADON at Willow Wood Skilled Nursing Facility. In this vital role, you’ll ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care while collaborating with a dedicated team, providing exceptional clinical leadership and support.

What You Bring to the Table:

Essential Qualifications:

• Assist in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing of the nursing department.
• Assist in the recruitment, selection, and training of competent department personnel.
• Participate in developing, planning, conducting, and scheduling regular in-service training classes that provide instruction and ensure a well-educated nursing department while keeping up with Federal and State educational requirements.
• Monitors and guide the completion of assessments in a timely manner.
• Schedules and facilitates care plan conferences Facilitates monthly QM meetings
• Manages Care Planning Process.
• Assist in developing, presenting, and evaluating education and training for employees.
• Infection prevention, vaccinations, collaboration with other healthcare professionals within and outside of the facility and implement infection prevention education.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Current Nursing license in the state of Louisiana (RN Preferred)
• Experience in Long-Term Care settings
• 3 years management experience preferred
• Excellent Communication Skills required
• Evidence of basic leadership skills and supervision
• Flexible hours required

Other Qualifications:

• Has not been excluded from participating in Medicare and Medicaid programs.
• Maintains eligibility to participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs throughout employment.
