The Bluffs Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Vicksburg, Mississippi, seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in managing nursing care and clinical programs. RN license and nursing leadership experience are required.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, interviewing and training associates, planning and directing work, and overseeing programs such as wound care, infection control, and restorative services; benefits include paid time off,

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• 2+ years of experience as a nursing manager in a skilled nursing facility with positive survey history.
• Demonstrated skills in clinical systems management.

Responsibilities

• Assists the DON in the supervision of nursing care provided by nursing staff and others for whom they are administratively or professionally responsible
• Interview, make recommendations, and train associates.
• Plans, assigns, directs, and monitors work.
• Responsible for assigned clinical programs and systems which may include but are not limited to wound care, weight management, fall prevention, continence management, infection prevention, pain management, and restorative programs.
