Job summary

Signature HealthCARE at Rockcastle Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to support the DON and oversee nursing operations to deliver resident-centered care. The ideal candidate is highly detail oriented, organized, and well-versed in policies and governmental regulations.

Requirements include an active RN license, 3+ years of nursing experience, 1–2 years of supervisory experience, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in good standing.
• Minimum of three (3) years nursing experience.
• One (1) to two (2) years management/supervisory experience preferred.
• Current/active CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage administrative and functional areas or programs within the Nursing Department.
• Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in overall operation of the department in accordance with Company policies, and standards of nursing practices and government regulations, so as to maintain quality care.
• Delegate to the Charge Nurses and Nurse Supervisors the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary to perform their assigned duties.
