Job summary

Greenspring Village by Erickson Senior Living in Springfield, Virginia, is seeking an ADON to lead clinical teams across Assisted Living, Memory Care and Long-term Care neighborhoods. This role emphasizes staff mentoring, resident-centered care, and elevated outcomes.

You will drive infection control, care quality, and regulatory readiness while partnering with the DON on budgets and programs. Eligibility includes a current RN license and at least 3 years in healthcare leadership; EMR experience

Qualifications

• Current RN nursing license with no restrictions for the state where they operate.
• Expertise in wound care, quality improvement, MDS, falls, hydration, infection control, care planning, etc.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a healthcare leadership role (Charge Nurse, Unit Manager, etc.).
• Experience with an electronic medical record (EMR) system is preferred.
• Must obtain Infection Prevention Certification within 90 days of employment.
• CPR/First Aide training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leading and mentoring a team of clinical staff members, ensuring Erickson’s Person-Centered Care approach, and creating an exceptional environment for residents.
• Ensuring appropriate staff is provided based on resident acuity in each level of care.
• Monitoring infection control for staff and residents and developing appropriate policies for infection control monitoring and reporting.
• Monitoring clinical quality areas including wound care, infection control, falls risk reduction, pain management, weight loss, and dehydration.
• Participating in Wound Rounds, Operations Meetings, Utilization Review, and PI/RM/S Committee.
• Reviewing clinical outcomes to ensure that we stay above benchmarking thresholds.
• Collaborating with DON to plan, develop and maintain the clinical operational budget for the nursing department.
• Partnering with DON and clinical leaders to ensure regulatory compliance and survey readiness.

Compensation: $115-130k per year, plus eligibility for annual bonus
