Job summary

Aria Healthcare seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead the Nursing Department in West Allis, WI. The role ensures the highest standard of resident care, compliance with federal and state guidelines, and collaboration with the Director of Nursing and Medical Director.

You will supervise nursing staff, participate in the development of restorative care plans, and drive performance improvements while maintaining a warm, respectful environment for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Wisconsin.
• Prior supervision of nursing staff required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of the Nursing Program.
• Consult with interdisciplinary team to maintain restorative care standards.
• Ensure compliance with laws and national standards.
• Meet with new Guests to explain the restorative program.
• Participate in discharge planning and care plan development.
• Supervise CNAs and other staff; perform annual reviews.
• Provide guidance, training, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Encourage adherence to infection control and safety precautions.
