Job summary

AVIR Health Group in Texas is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing with clinical oversight and to help cultivate a high-performing team and compassionate culture for residents and their families.

The ADON must hold a Texas nursing license, CPR certification, and have at least one year of supervisory experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related healthcare setting, with familiarity of infection control and long-term care

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Nurse License.
• CPR Certification required.
• Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other healthcare program.
• Knowledge of infection control and prevention.
• Must possess knowledge of long-term care operational standards as set forth in federal and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support the Director of Nursing with the overall clinical management of the facility.
• Help build a high-performing team and culture focused on residents and families.
