Job description

ADON Health and Wellness Coordinator (Finance)

The ADON Health and Wellness Coordinator manages the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure residents' healthcare needs are met. They ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity, providing quality care as residents' healthcare needs change. The coordinator maintains consistent quality resident care and service delivery across all shifts, which may require assuming roles such as Caregiver or Med Tech/Aide to meet residents' needs and staffing requirements.

Responsibilities include supervising licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA's, and Caregivers, as well as providing ongoing training and education through classroom in-services and situation-specific training. The coordinator also manages staff schedules, oversees medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision or administration, conducting periodic medication skills inventory checks and audits per Brookdale Guidelines.

The role shares on-call duties as required. Education requirements include a state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN) with 1-2 years of relevant experience. An LPN or LVN license is required.

The salary range is $28.00 to $35.66 per hour, determined by skills and experience. The role is full-time with benefits eligibility; temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company's 401(k) program.
