Job description

ADON Health and Wellness Coordinator (Finance)

The ADON Health and Wellness Coordinator manages the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure residents' healthcare needs are met. They ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity, providing quality care as residents' healthcare needs change. The coordinator maintains consistent quality resident care and service delivery across all shifts, which may involve assuming roles such as Caregiver or Med Tech/Aide to meet residents' needs and staffing requirements.

Responsibilities include supervising licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA's, and Caregivers; providing ongoing training and education through classroom in-services and situation-specific training; managing staff schedules; overseeing medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision or administration; conducting periodic medication skills inventory checks and audits per Brookdale Guidelines; and sharing on-call duties as required.

Qualifications include education necessary to obtain a state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN) and a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience. A valid LPN or LVN license is required.
