Job summary

Momentum Centers in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an experienced Primary Therapist to deliver individual, family and group therapy to adolescents in residence. You will develop treatment plans, collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team, and maintain HIPAA-compliant records.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree in a mental health field and current licensure (LMFT/LCSW/LPC or equivalent) with at least two years of adolescent therapy experience in residential or hospital settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling, or related field.
• Current state licensure as LMFT, LCSW, LPC, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience counseling adolescents, preferably in residential or hospital settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family and group therapy to residents.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses and other therapists to provide integrated care.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and progress notes.
• Engage families for education, support and resources; conduct family therapy as needed.
• Conduct crisis intervention, risk assessments and safety planning.
• Support behavior management strategies within the treatment program.
