Job summary

Evolve Treatment Centers in Lafayette, CA is seeking a Primary Therapist to provide individual, family, and group therapy for adolescents in a 6-bed residential program. The role supports teens with mental health and/or substance use challenges and offers a small caseload within a multidisciplinary team.

The position requires CA licensure (LCSW/LMFT/LPCC or AMFT/ACSW/APCC), LiveScan clearance, and strong documentation skills. A valid CA driver’s license is needed for occasional off-site support.

Qualifications

• Active California Licensure as an LCSW/LMFT/LPCC or AMFT/ACSW/APCC.
• Ability to pass LiveScan and federal/state background checks.
• Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-based environment.
• Valid California driver’s license to assist at other locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions for teens using evidence-based practices (DBT, CBT, MI).
• Facilitate 1–2 therapy groups per week and document clinical notes.
• Participate in on-call rotation, offering after-hours clinical support.
• Support discharge planning with home contracts and after-care referrals.
• Attend weekly Treatment Team and Psychiatry meetings with clinical updates.
