Job summary

Center For Positive Changes is seeking a Licensed Therapist / Head of Service (HOS) to join our clinical team serving youth in a Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) at our San Diego location. The role encompasses clinical leadership, assessments, treatment planning, and a range of therapy modalities for adolescents and transitional-age youth.

The ideal candidate holds an active California license (LMFT/LPCC/LCSW) with at least 2 years in residential or outpatient settings and a

Active California license as LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW.
Experience in residential or outpatient settings serving youth (min 2 years).
Experience with adolescents and transitional-age youth preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide Specialty Mental Health Services (SMHS) to youth in STRTP.
Perform initial and ongoing mental health assessments.
Develop/update individualized treatment and safety plans.
Deliver individual, family, and group therapy.
Provide psychoeducation and therapeutic interventions.
Coordinate care and connect families to community resources.
Assess progress and communicate treatment decisions to the multidisciplinary team.
Participate in crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning.
Lead and participate in Child and Family Team (CFT) and Treatment Team meetings.
