Job summary

Father Flanagan's Boys' Home seeks an experienced mental health professional to perform comprehensive chemical use evaluations and provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy for adolescents under supervision. A $2,500 hiring bonus is offered.

The role requires MA/MS in a related field and a PLMHP license in Nebraska, with a preference for PLADC licensure or willingness to obtain within the first year.

Qualifications

• MA/MS in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with adolescents and families.
• Provisionally licensed mental health practitioner in Nebraska (PLMHP).
• Preferred: PLADC licensure or willingness to obtain within first year.
• Registered Provider Status in Nebraska or willingness to obtain within first year.

Responsibilities

• Completes comprehensive chemical use evaluations and assessments on adolescents under supervision of a Licensed Practitioner.
• Completes paperwork including reports, assessments, treatment plans, and termination summaries per policy.
• Conducts mental health assessments for court-referred youth, including psychosocial histories and drug/alcohol evaluations.
• Reports results for inclusion in final reports shared with families and care team.
• Provides counseling, support, intervention, and referral services to adolescents and families.
• Serves as primary therapist for individual and/or family psychotherapy, aligning goals with diagnoses.
