Job summary

The Pavilion Behavioral Health System operates a 110-bed inpatient hospital, a residential treatment center for youth, and addiction treatment services in Champaign, IL, near the University of Illinois. Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; CNA preferred; Associates degree or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• College student pursuing degree in behavioral health, psychology, nursing or human services preferred.
• One year or more experience in inpatient psychiatric setting preferred; experience with crisis intervention

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day programming of RTC residents
• Implement daily programming for residents according to posted schedule
• Adhere to departmental and organizational policies and procedures
• Be responsive and effective in handling psychiatric emergencies, calms residents, and manages difficult residents as needed
• Implement interventions appropriate to developmental needs of the patient in accordance with the treatment plan
• Provide feedback to staff in a professional manner
• Respond in a straightforward manner with problems and inform administration when needed
