Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a registered nurse (RN) to coordinate patient care for a pediatric unit. The RN will provide direct patient care, educate patients and families, and coordinate transitions of care within a structured nursing practice model.

Ideal candidates will have an RN license, at least one year of RN experience, and strong communication and teamwork abilities. BLS certification is required; eligibility for TN sponsorship is noted for visa-screened candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• One year of professional RN experience required.
• Current RN license by state requirements.
• BLS must be valid within 90 days post start date; various certs accepted.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee nursing care for assigned patients.
• Provide patient and family education and coordinate transitions of care.
• Lead and participate in the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model.
• Demonstrate leadership, mentoring, and quality improvement activities.
