The Ridge Behavioral Health System is a 110-bed hospital offering psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment for children, adolescents, and adults.
Our specialized treatment services are provided by a multidisciplinary team of highly trained psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, addiction counselors, nurses, and activity therapists.
The Ridge Behavioral Health System prides itself as being the only free-standing psychiatric hospital in the Central Kentucky area. We have provided behavioral health services to over 92 Kentucky counties for over 39 years.
The Psych Registered Nurse will be responsible for the implementation of the nursing process in all aspects of patient care for all patient populations including chemically dependent adults, adult psych, adolescents and children. Assures a comprehensive approach to patient care by applying appropriate theories to psychiatric nursing practice for all patients.
This opportunity is full-time at 36 hours per week, offers full benefits and an opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested.
EDUCATION:
Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Preferred: BSN
Licensure/Certifications:
Licensed RN to practice in Kentucky
Current CPR
EXPERIENCE:
Required: Nursing experience providing direct patient care.
Preferred: One year inpatient behavioral health work experience and one year medical/surgical nursing experience.
