Job summary

Universal Hospital Services Inc. is seeking an Outpatient Adolescent Therapist (MA/MSW) for a Monday–Friday schedule 11:30am–8:00pm at The Psychiatric Institute of Washington. The role involves individual, family and group psychotherapy for adolescents, plus coordination with referring clinicians.

Prior outpatient/partial hospital experience and DC licensure are required. The candidate will participate in training, research activities and program development, with opportunities for professional

Qualifications

• Licensure in Social Work, Psychology or related discipline (LICSW, Psychologist, LPC, LGPC, LGSW) required
• DC Licensure in Social Work, Psychology or related discipline (LICSW, Psychologist, LPC)
• Minimum five (5) years experience delivering direct clinical services in behavioral health
• Experience in individual, group and systems psychotherapy, and clinical case management
• Demonstrated experience with adolescent populations required
• Experience in outpatient and partial hospital work

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, family and group psychotherapy for outpatient adolescents and serves as a liaison with referring clinicians
• Participates in training and research activities within the program
• Contributes to program development and evaluation
• Meets hiring criteria including pre-employment verifications, background checks and drug testing
