Job summary

Avery's House in Fountain Hills, Arizona is seeking a Part-time Occupational Therapist to support a residential program for neurodivergent adolescents. Under supervision, provide direct patient care, develop ITPS, and mentor staff in sensory and regulation strategies to promote independence and safety.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational therapy is required.
• Current license from the Arizona Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners is required.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card is required; if new, in-process acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive functional behavior and neuro-affirming sensory profiles.
• Develop collaborative, strengths-based Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs).
• Provide individual and group therapy focused on daily living skills (ADLs/IADLs).
• Teach self-care, cooking, budgeting, laundry, and community navigation.
• Audit residential environment and train staff on sensory and regulation plans.
• Maintain timely electronic clinical notes and ensure documentation meets licensing standards.
