Qualifications

• MD or DO with completion of an accredited Pediatrics, Internal Medicine/Pediatrics, or Family Medicine residency.
• Fellowship training in Adolescent Medicine.
• Board certified or board eligible in Adolescent Medicine; Texas licensure eligibility.
• Commitment to equitable, affirming, adolescent-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient care for adolescents and young adults.
• Engage in teaching, mentoring, and program development within the division.
• Advise on advocacy, research, and scholarship opportunities.

Texas Children’s Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine are seeking a BC/BE Adolescent Medicine physician to join one of the leading divisions of adolescent medicine in the United States, including one of just nine Leadership Education in Adolescent Health (LEAH) programs.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team dedicated to comprehensive, evidence-based care for adolescents and young adults. The division includes physician colleagues, four full-time PhD clinical psychologists, a full-time research faculty member, advanced practice providers, and registered dietitians.

Faculty provide care across a broad range of adolescent health needs, including eating disorders, adolescent mental health, obesity, reproductive health, sexually transmitted infections, transition to adult-based care, and care for unhoused youth. The role offers a meaningful mix of inpatient and outpatient clinical care, teaching, mentoring, program development, advocacy, and opportunities for research and scholarship.
