Job summary

Life Help is a regional community mental health center delivering comprehensive services for nearly fifty years. The role focuses on improving access to assessment and treatment for adolescents with co-occurring disorders, including individual, group, and family sessions per A-IOP.

The Therapist will obtain licensure/certification as required, maintain good standing, and liaise with families, schools, and community resources. A valid Mississippi driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a Mental Health related field.
• Eligible to meet DMH Certification/Licensure requirements for Therapist.
• Valid Mississippi Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve access to quality assessment and treatment for adolescents with alcohol/drug use and co-occurring disorders.
• Provide individual, group, and family sessions as outlined in the A-IOP requirements.
• Serve as primary liaison between student/family, home, school, youth court, and community resources.
