Job summary

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) seeks a Health Resource Center Educator to support middle and high school students in making informed decisions about sexual health, relationships and overall well-being. The role is based at partner school sites four days per week and CHOP’s Roberts Center location once a week.

The Educator facilitates individual and group counseling, collaborates with school and community staff, maintains program data and ensures compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Health Education, Public Health or related field preferred.
• At least five (5) years working with adolescents in school or community settings required.
• At least three (3) years developing counseling sessions, health education workshops, or programming activities required.
• At least one (1) year collecting, documenting and maintaining program or participant data required.

Responsibilities

• Provides sexual and reproductive health services, including urine pregnancy and STI screening, counseling, and referrals.
• Develops individualized and group support plans with measurable goals.
• Assesses student safety and delivers training on health topics.
• Monitors youth progress through follow-up and data analysis.
