Anne Arundel County Sheriff's Office seeks a licensed behavioral health professional to provide counseling for children, adolescents, adults and families within the Adolescent and Family Services clinics. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver individual, family and group sessions.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a behavioral health field and a minimum of two years of relevant experience; bilingual skills are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in a behavioral health field from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of two years experience providing behavioral health services to adolescents and families.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide treatment services to patients, ages 4 and older, and their families, including individual, family and group modalities.
• Provide case management, follow-up and referrals to services.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments, substance use assessments/screenings (including urinalysis) and diagnosis of patients.
• Develop person-centered treatment plans and document treatment notes, contact notes, correspondence and other written reports essential to the treatment of the patients, following DOH policies and COMAR regulations.
• Coordinate interagency contacts by phone, written correspondence and meetings to provide continuity of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary staff meetings as well as group and individual supervision to evaluate best practices, plan treatment protocols and track patients’ progress through peer review and case conference.
• Provide phone service to the community in order to make risk assessments, provide crisis intervention services and screen for appropriate information and referral.
