Justice Resource Institute Inc. seeks a Long Term Substitute Teacher for the Merrimack Center, an Intensive Residential Treatment Program for adolescents. You will convey passion for education with energy and a positive attitude while working with our youth in a 24-hour setting with on-site school and a full clinical team.

The compensation ranges from $23.00 to $33.00 per hour. A $2,000 bilingual bonus is offered to new hires fluent in a second language, with license reimbursement and

Qualifications

• Experience in a Special Education or Mental Health setting is strongly preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Develop skills in providing enriching academic assistance for our teachers and students in a Special Education setting.
• Create a safe and therapeutic community by supporting students and by role modeling effective coping strategies.
• Help students discover what makes them feel competent and valued by working with them to develop life skills such as cooking, banking, vocational skills.
