SCO Family of Services is seeking a dedicated youth care worker in New York. The role involves supervising adolescents, supporting ADL routines, and promoting a safe, respectful living environment.

You will implement behavior management strategies, assist with education and health needs, and lead group activities with sensitivity and consistency. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma and at least three years of experience working with adolescents.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Three years’ experience working with adolescents.

Responsabilités

• Ensures residents receive quality care in health, safety, clothing, hygiene and meals.
• Establishes ADL routines including house jobs, room chores, wake-ups and lights-out, laundry, cooking, etc.
• Supervises individual and group activities such as trips, sports, crafts, and more; applies behavior management strategies.
• Attends to educational, vocational, health and mental health needs.
• Models positive behavior and maintains a safe, orderly, and caring environment.
• Completes field work as needed and performs other assigned tasks.
