Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates or Bachelors in Psychology/Social Work preferred.
• Nursing Assistant certification accepted.
• BLS from the American Heart Association required.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide care that supports safety and patient dignity.
• Assist with admissions, including contraband searches and room orientation.
• Assist with transfers and discharges, obtaining vital signs and belongings.
• Monitor vital signs, weigh patients, report abnormalities.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Assist with therapeutic holds and seclusion under training.
