Job summary

Sanctuary Recovery Centers Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to support an adolescent home in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves mentoring, facilitating year-round activities, and documenting progress in care plans.

You will provide behavioral support, assist with daily routines, coordinate with medical staff, and transport clients as needed. Requires 21+, HS/GED, and recent background checks; benefits include health coverage and PTO.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• HS Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field preferred.
• Previous experience with children/adolescents with behavioral/emotional needs required.
• Drug test within 24 hours of offer with negative results.
• Valid AZ Driver's License & pass DMV history check.
• Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions.
• Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provide Behavioral Support to a single adolescent member.
• Provide direct patient care in a group home setting for this member.
• Communicate with medical staff and co-workers about changes in the patient's condition including vital signs, and behavioral and physical symptoms.
• Able to respond to changes in patient's behavioral status.
• Keep member's routine schedules such as medications and appointments.
• Transport members to and from appointments.
• Accurately document observed behavior.
