Job summary

LearnWell in Lowell, MA is seeking a part-time teacher to support adolescent students in a behavioral health facility. The role involves delivering daily lessons, offering individualized assistance, and tracking student progress in a small classroom setting.

The position requires a BA/BS, an MA teaching license, and comfort working with teens. A 20-hour weekly schedule (Mon–Fri, 11:00am–3:00pm) is offered with paid time off, holidays, and benefits including health, dental, and 401K.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree from an accredited institution
• MA teaching license required
• Experience with adolescent students preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to monitor attendance and progress

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily lesson plans for adolescent patients
• Provide individualized student support and guidance
• Communicate student progress to clinical team as needed
• Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to support student success
• Maintain accurate attendance and session reports; manage class sizes (8–15)
