Perimeter Behavioral Health in Waynesville, MO is seeking a Certified Medical Tech (CMT) to join our nursing team. You will coordinate medication administration for residents and monitor comfort under RN/LPN supervision.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with the treatment team, and maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment. 8-hour shifts; full-time positions available with PRN options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• L1MA certification or Med Tech Certification.
• All required licenses or certifications required by State licensing authority and maintain continuing education requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Administer oral and external medications to residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or LPN.
• Implement residents' personal care plans, focusing on residents' strengths, preferences, and routines.
• Monitor and evaluate resident progress, reporting unusual symptoms and/or behaviors.
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly through daily progress notes.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement measurable treatment goals.
• Create and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment that protects patients' rights.
• Build professional relationships with patients, families, and staff members.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and care coordination.
• Mentor and support nursing team members.
• Advocate for patient needs and ensure quality of care.
