The Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC) is actively recruiting experienced professionals to serve as Correctional Sergeants across facilities in the state. This full-time role offers a competitive salary range and extensive benefits.

Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED, two years of correctional work in security at the level of Correctional Officer or higher, and APOSCT certification to obtain permanent status. Starting salary is based on education and experience.

Salary: $47,839.20 - $80,121.60

Note: The starting salary is determined based on education, experience, or a combination of both.

This is a full-time position that includes supervising a small unit of correctional officers or performing highly responsible duties in a specialized area of Corrections.

Applicants must meet the requirements below:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two years of correctional work in the security of inmates at the level of Correctional Officer or higher
