Salary: $47,839.20 - $80,121.60

Note: The starting salary is determined based on education, experience, or a combination of both.

This is a full-time position that includes supervising a small unit of correctional officers or performing highly responsible duties in a specialized area of Corrections.

Applicants Must Meet The Requirements Below

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two years of correctional work in the security of inmates at the level of Correctional Officer or higher
• Incumbents must be certified by the Alabama Peace Officer's Standards and Training Commission in order to obtain permanent status in this classification. Please attach a list of all training and certifications to your resume and State Personnel application.
