Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group is seeking an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sr. Engineer in Berlin, CT, US. The role involves working on AEM and related integration platform projects through the full development lifecycle in collaboration with partners.

You will lead with the technical team and support existing implementations through enhancements and bug fixes. The position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, minimal supervision, and a proactive approach to delivering quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with AEM components, templates, Client Libraries, taxonomy, and workflows.
• Strong knowledge of AEM libraries delivery and multi-tenant design patterns.
• Experience with third-party integrations and eCommerce platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical approaches to meet business requirements and review with the team.
• Ensure delivery of AEM enterprise-level integration and development including third-party integration.
• Translate business requirements into AEM UI solution and document it.

TheSr.AEMEngineerwillbe responsible forworking onAEMand relatedIntegrationplatform projectsdevelopment via followingthrough the entire life cyclein collaborationwithpartner’s team.This role will be also responsible to work with team ofdeveloper’sunder the guidance of technical lead todeliver therequirements.Thisrolewill alsoberesponsibleforsupportingexisting implementation via enhancements andbug fixes.

In addition to strong technical knowledge of the AEM andintegratedplatform this position requiresstrong communicationand interpersonal skillsto build andmaintaintrusted relationships with various businessstack holdersand partners.Workwill be managedwith little supervision and requires initiative (ideas, best practices etc…),organization, and judgment.

This role will be based onsite in Berlin, CT on a full-time basis.

What you will be doing

• Developtechnicalapproachesdesigned by technical lead/architecttoachieve business requirements,documentsandpeer review withdevelopmentteam.
• Ensuresthe deliveryand success of AEM enterprise-level integration and developmentinvolvingthird partyclient sideintegration including request/response flow
• Participates ingathering ofAEMtechnical and functional requirements frombusiness teamsduring discovery phaseandshare yourexpertisewith tech lead/architects totranslate it into AEMUIsolution anddocument it
• Createdevelopment approach along with team and present it for approval with technicalleadalong with efforts
• Shouldbehandson AEMfeatures and functionalitydevelopmentusing latest and greatest design pattern (atomic/modular designor singleton/factory design) forcustom solutionandthird partyintegration
• Should be creative and OOTB thinker to bring best practices in development approaches
• Suggest alternative technical solutions to meet business requirements more efficiently and/or with greaterreusability and/orlong termsolution
• Contributesto architecturaldecisionsand guidelines fordevelopmentteamstoensure compliances
• Experience and exposure inagilemethodologies
• Excellent communication skillsandcustomer relationship building skills

What we are looking for

• Extensive and stronghands onexperience ofAEMComponents,editableTemplates,Client Libraries,Taxonomy, metadata management, Forward and Reverse Replication, Workflows, Content Publishing, Tagging, Campaigns, Analyticsand Targeting
• Should have strong experience in designing optimized AEM libraries delivery and reusability across tenants
• Experience/understandingwiththird partyintegrationse.g.Search Integrations, Authentication Handlers,Web servicesIntegrations, CRM Integrations
• Experience working with E-Commerce platforms is highly desirable (e.g.Magento,SalesForceCommerce Cloud etc.)
• Good understanding of integration patterns and content-centric application development patterns using AEM,Search, Commercepackageor other platforms.
• Good understanding of AEM capabilities includingMulti-sitemanager and Blueprinting, and the use of Online marketing components such as advanced targeting/ personalization, and multi-variate testing.
• Should haveimplementedAEM multi-tenantsolutionsand delivered it
• Should haveimplementedtagging and data layers for complex analytics scenarios, contenttargetingand personalization scenarios
• Should have conductedcode reviews for ongoing projects to ensureoptimalcode quality andappropriate designpatterns are used
• Should haveEmployed,promotedand enforcedstrong coding standards for security, efficiency,readabilityand reuse
• Having one or more of the following certifications is a plus. AEM Developer, Adobe AEM Advanced developer

Experience

• Overall5+ years of experience in delivering enterprise solutions
• Minimum3+years of experiencedeveloping with AEMTouchUI(version 6.4and higher,Asa Cloud Service will be preferred)
• Minimum4+ years solution designing& executingAEMsites build:
• Editable Template
• Touch UIComponents(React/Sightly/JSP/Java/Angular)
• Servlet, Services, Third Party Integration
• Server sidecaching build (symphony,EHcacheetc…)
• Experience and content fragment
• Context Hub and campaign
• Context aware configuration (OSGI configuration)
• Front end and server side debugging and fixing issue
• Performanceimprovementand SEO debugging and tracking
• Experience with targeting tools like (Adobe Target or double click etc…)will be plus
• Experience with Analytics tools like (google analytics or adobe analytics)will be plus
• Experience with Tagging system like (google tag manager or adobe launch)will be plus
• Experiencewith eCommerceplatformMagentowill be plus
• Experience with integratingSalesForcewill be plus
• Experience with integrating Product management system will be plus
• ExperienceutilizingBitBucket, GitHub,Jiraand Confluence
